Ocean Loft, May 2024

Ocean loft, situated in a seaside town of Rongcheng, Northern city in China. The designer was Inspired to create a comfortable holiday home for her family and their friends.

Originally a high-ceilinged two-bedroom apartment, this space had been subdivided into smaller rooms with partition walls. The designer reimagined the layout by retaining only the load-bearing walls, opening the space entirely. A mezzanine level was added, introducing an extra bedroom, bathroom, and generous storage, transforming the apartment into a spacious open-concept loft with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The design blends minimalist and industrial elements, resulting in a space that is sleek, airy, and imbued with a rustic, raw charm—perfectly suited for modern living.

The open design and expansive windows bathe the home in natural light and vitality, effortlessly drawing the breathtaking ocean views inside. This creates a serene and memorable living experience, where the beauty of the outdoors becomes an integral part of everyday life.
